Customer Review: Excellent coffee grinder

I've discovered that the grind of a coffee is as important as the quality of the coffee beans and getting a great cup of java, equivalent to the Starbucks of the world, starts with a good qualify bean and a good grind that's consistent. The Breville does almost as good as the commercial grade grinders that you find in most retail stores, except that you don't get the inadvertent taste of someone else's grind. It's easy to use and is quieter than most standard inexpensive grinders and it looks good sitting on the counter. For people that grind their coffee immediately before each brew, this grinder is ideal. For those who want to great a pound or two at a time, this will work, but it'll take a little longer than the grinder at the grocery store. The finest grind isn't quiet as fine as "Turkish grind, but closer to what you would use in your expresso coffee maker.
Description of Breville BCG459XL Ikon Conical Burr Grinder
Barista grade control for a variety of coffee grinds. The removable bean hopper holds 1/2 a pound of coffee beans. The motor drives the bottom burrs and the top plate is stationary. The distance you position them apart precisely determines grind size.
