Customer Review: The Brevile Ikon 4 Slice Bread " Drier"

After owning this toaster for 10 months we have come to the realization that this may in fact be one of the finest bread driers in the industry. If you like dry untoasted bread this is your unit. It will totally dry any type of bread, any thickness in 2 to 5 minutes.
We have tried every type of bread, thin, thick, light, dense, it doesn't matter this unit will totally dry your bread without browning! The Ikon has a variable "dryness knob" with a large digital display ranges from a dryness level of 1 to 10.
But be careful! If you over dry your bread product it will suddenly become burnt and burst into flames. There is a fine line between perfectly dry and burnt to a crisp.
So if ultra dry, un browned "toast" is your goal, the Brevile Ikon is your "toaster" or should I say "dryer"

When your toast is done (nice and dry) it will beep at you with three long, loud beeps just to let you know. So if you happen to be out mowing the lawn, you will know your toast is done.

This is a big honken toaster, have plenty of counter space to devote to this unit
Perfectly dries bread, if you want perfectly browned "toast" this is not your toaster.
